In response to the impact of the ongoing pandemic and severe winter storms across the country, AABB has developed a tool to help members of the blood community contact their state and local lawmakers and ask them to promote blood donation in their communities. This tool allows individuals to identify and contact their elected officials, ask them to amplify the need for blood donations, and share where healthy eligible donors can make an appointment to donate blood. AABB encourages members of the blood community to act today to help ensure that patients have access to life-saving blood products.
